Ostional Wildlife Refuge

Experience the rarely seen biological wonder called "arribada" where hundreds of sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach in Ostional.

The largest "arribada" recorded, took place in November of 1995 when an estimate of 500 000 females came ashore.

This occurs year round but it peaks from August through December.

The guided tour is $20 per person and this is the meeting point: (see location)

Guti Tours

About the coach: Lennart is a 31 year old professional tennis coach from Germany, living since May 2022 in Costa Rica. In his youth, he was one of the best national players of his age until he studied to become a professional coach. He worked for ten years at one of the most successful academies of North Rhine-Westfalia as an individual coach for competitive youth players, as well as head coach for several senior teams.
